Microsoft SQL Server Databases
You can create MSSQL Server databases on your account and have full control of them via the Microsoft Enterprise Manager or ODBC. MSSQL Server is the most powerful database available for the web today and is the solution used by many corporate and financial institutions worldwide.
Password Protection
You can password protect areas of your website and authenticate users from a text file or any ODBC database. This can be achieved without any scripting and is controlled by the server, giving high security and a professional image to visitors.
Connectivity
We have multiple connections to the Internet from high quality backbone providers. We currently have a 30Mb bandwidth and an additional 155 Mb available "on tap" to cope with future demand.
BT have the largest IP network in the UK. They are our primary bandwidth provider and we currently have a 30Mb Internet connection with them. This service is delivered on a gigabit fibre and is diversely routed to two different BT exchanges on different sides of our data centre. The connection is burstable to 155 Mb at the flick of a switch. BT is one of the most expensive providers in the UK due to the high quality of their network and ability to deliver the best support and service level agreements.
